Bringing the feminine touch to the world of technology and innovation.
Did you know that there are twice as many women in tech in Bulgaria compared to the European average? In fact, Bulgaria ranks #1 for female ICT specialists in Europe. This encouraging number is just one of the reasons Sofia is proud to set the stage for this year’s European Conference for Women’s Leadership in the Digital Economy, which will gather over 250 representatives of the business, non-profit and public sectors from all over Europe.
Hosted by the Bulgarian Center of Women in Technology, the SHEleader@digital’s mission is to inspire and provoke more women and girls to confidently take on professional and leadership roles across the digital industry. The conference will be the focal point female leaders from all over Europe converge. We will discuss ways to support and encourage the active participation and contribution of women to the digital economy.
Come join us on the 12th April 2018 for an extraordinary day at the National Palace of Culture to talk about how:
She is Digital
where we discuss both how women leaders can effectively partner to support female leadership in the digital world and different ways to transform the common perception of women in tech.
She is a Leader
where European leaders in the digital field and the scientific community share their personal development path and experience supporting women and girls on their journey to becoming digital leaders.
She is a Diva
where we discuss women’s role in today’s social and economic life as well as how women’s authenticity contributes to the development of prosperous, sustainable and balanced organizations.
She is There for You
where we talk about how women leaders can contribute addressing the social challenges in the world.
Because SHE is all that and more.
Organized as part of the official calendar of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Conference will be held under the official patronage of the Bulgarian Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Mrs. Mariya Gabriel.
